Samsung Galaxy Tab S Now On Three

09 july 2014

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S is a new range from Samsung, combining high end specs with one of the best tablet screens around. There’s a whole lot more to it than that of course, but it’s said that a picture says a thousand words and we can only imagine how much a video says, so why not check it out in action with Three’s hands-on video.

As you can see the new slate is available in two sizes, 8.4 inches and 10.5 inches, the latter being among the biggest tablet sizes you can get.

Checkout the Samsung Galaxy S on Three now.

Both versions have a super-slim 6.6mm thick build and powerful octa-core processors, with four cores clocked at 1.9GHz and prioritised for games and other heavy lifting, while the other four cores are clocked at 1.3GHz and are used for less demanding tasks as they’re lighter on the battery. There’s even 3GB of RAM, just to ensure that they never slow down.

Both slates also have 2560 x 1600 Super AMOLED displays, with pixel densities of 359 pixels per inch on the 8.4 inch slate and 288 pixels per inch on the 10.5 inch slate. Samsung has made tablet screens this high resolution before, but never with Super AMOLED, so these tablets are both high resolution and capable of bright, vivid images.

As well as great screens both slates also have dual stereo speakers, so both audio and visuals are as immersive as possible. They have 8 megapixel cameras with a flash, along with full HD front facing cameras, come with up to 32GB of storage along with a microSD card slot and even have fingerprint scanners.

Above and beyond the tablets themselves Samsung has even thrown in some free content for buyers, including Kindle books, magazine subscriptions, music streaming, apps and even free access to Sky Movies, all accessible through the built in Galaxy Gifts application.

Both versions of the Galaxy Tab S are available now on Three. The 8.4 inch model can be bought on a 24 month contract with 5GB of data for £25.18 per month plus £129 upfront, or with 15GB of data for £33.03 per month with £49 upfront.
