US sends more military guides to Iraq

Barrier Secretary Chuck Hagel says the US has sent 130 more military counselors to the Kurdish district of northern Iraq. The staff are notwithstanding around 250 military counsels as of now there.

Identifying with servicemen and ladies at Camp Pendleton in California, he said the counselors were in Iraq to support and exhort Iraqi security strengths who are battling the activist gathering Islamic State (IS).

Mr Hagel said, “This is not a battle boots on the ground sort of operation.”
